Trend Tuesdays | Lace'd

Lace has been a trend for a very long time and has been featured in various incarnations. Like a wave it has come in and out of style. I have never liked to follow fashion rules and will wear it throughout its life cycle, so I am always looking for new ways to wear it.

Lanvin, Marchesa, Bottega Veneta
I really enjoy the overlay look. I am on the hunt for a lace dress I can wear on top of  bright dresses. Then I can created multiple looks with one garment! So eco-friendly I am!
Ginnifer Goodwin  is so super cute in her lace overlay number!

^This dress kills me! I love all the textures and elements in this number! The lace, the leather, the flowers! Absolutely unique and sexy!

If I would have seen this cover I probably would've used lace as my veil for my wedding.

B & W | Bambi Northwood-Blyth

I have always loved the look of b & w photography, it has a sombre beauty to it. I wanted to share these beauties of Bambi, isn't she just so adorable? Loved the one with the skull back and the one with the leather halter the best! Argh..how do I get my hands on that skull cutout shirt! Maybe I will attempt to make one? I feel a D.Y.I this weekend!

Hope you have a fantastic Saturday!

Wednesday | Want to Wear

Came across this brand and HAD to share! This Argentinian label A.Y. Not Dead has fresh designs for men and women, with an urban rocker aesthetic that I simply adore!

Friday | Fashion Face-off Pt2

I have been so busy with Fashionilla.com that I haven't been very "Posty" lately and my poor blog is being neglected. So my apologies for not being consistent and posting a Halloween follow up 2 weeks after Halloween.

Well, looks like we achieved a beautiful compromise with our costumes. The joys of marriage!! My costume was trampy without showing too much, if anything, he was the hoochie this time around! I give Mike the award for Most Enthusiastic Husband for his help with the garb. Mad Max Road Warriors have been in my top 5 favourite Halloween costumes!

A lil self portrait

I danced my face off shortly after this picture was taken.
Next time, waterproof black liner!
My hubz and I = Mad Love!
